These works will take place during the second half of 2017, with the re-modelled children’s home scheduled to re-open early in 2018. The Council aims to contract the management of this children’s home to an experienced provider with a proven track record in providing the very best outcomes for children in care.

How To Get Involved:

You can read the relevant committee paper on the council website by clicking here. If you have any questions about the improvements to Bridge House children’s home, please tell us by completing the form below. If you don’t have access to a computer, any questions can be directed to 020 8871 6716.

This is part of our plans over the coming year aimed at improving the accommodation, care and support for children and teenagers in our care. Within our improvement programme we have enhanced our offer for our foster carers, including increasing the payments our foster carers receive for caring for our children; and are looking at how we can further strengthen our support for foster carers and the children living with them.
